Sorry for our long length of time without a post. This year has gone by very quickly and has not slowed down. From last year's long harsh winter of 2014-2015 we were worried with heating our house and trying to stay cozy. With our rush to get the heat done we took the chimney down over Thanksgiving break and then started to clear the inside of the house where the Vermont Castings woodstove would go. To have the woodstove at a higher level for easier access, we built a base with bluestone which is locally quarried from a very nice family. Barnes Brothers Bluestone located in Norwich, New York does rough cut stone and does finish work such as countertops and sinks (wait to see our new countertops and sinks from the Barnes Brothers ). With the woodstove, it was purchased from Syracuse Stove & Chimney and it was installed by a very pleasant man named Dave. Thats for today's post!

I have waited for a long time, and now it is finally here. Sure, it was a struggle, however, I am really happy that it is here. All the wait really made me insane, but now that it is here, all of that waiting is worth it. I am so excited to break the news to everyone, in fact, I am literally shaking right now. I hope that this does not disappoint me, it would really break my heart if it does.
